About the Event
The aim of this workshop is to uncover the erased history of Glasgow and investigate the remnants that are still visible today. This is a unique opportunity to be carefully led by two expert women of African and West Indian descent through this hidden history. The walk starts at the statue of Livingstone outside Glasgow Cathedral and ends at the Gallery of Modern Art. This walk will help young people identify the key sites built on ‘the blood and sweat of slaves’. We will have food in a city centre location which will provide time and space to discuss what we have witnessed
